CORNING, N.Y. (WETM) – Tri-county Chamber of Commerce welcomed Dr. William Mullaney, Corning Community College’s new President.
Mullaney is the seventh president that the college has had in the last six decades.
Mullaney is no stranger to working in community colleges. He started his career in Arizona and most recently has been the Vice President for Academic Affairs in New Jersey. In all, he has been working in community colleges for twenty years.
Mullaney has credited to generating over $10 million dollars in grant funding in New Jersey.
He sees the importance of meeting the local chamber of commerce to better serve his students and understanding the workforce locally.
