HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WETM) – New York State Police arrested two people on drug charges in the Village of Horseheads on Sept. 24.

State Police say they observed a vehicle in I-86 and the driver said the vehicle’s hood came loose and struck the windshield. Neither the driver, Jonathan Baker, 28, of Elmira, nor Idabelle Horton, 22, of Addison, had a drivers license.

Police uncovered 30 grams of marijuana and a “small jar” of methamphetamine. Additionally, Horton had an active warrant in the Town of Corning.

Baker and Horton were arrested for Criminal Possession of a controlled substance and were issued tickets to appear at the Town of Horseheads court. Horton was also processed for the active warrant.
