Governor Cuomo announced Wednesday that New York State Police will increase patrols to crack down on impaired driving.

The crackdown is part of the National “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign which runs until Tuesday, January 1.

Drivers will see increased sobriety check points and more troopers on the roads.

Troopers will also be looking for distracted drivers, unbuckled passengers and violations of the state’s “Move Over Law.”
