Two C-PP students plan jazz concert to benefit ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes

Kiely Caulfield and Ada Jarosch aren’t just playing Friday night’s jazz concert at Corning-Painted Post High School, they also planned it. 

“Swing into Spring” will feature the C-PP Jazz Band on Friday, March 8 from 7 – 8 p.m. 

The concert will benefit The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for students, and all proceeds will go to the ARTS Council.

Doors open at 6:45 p.m. 

Caulfield and Jarosch are both juniors and International Baccalaureate students at Corning-Painted Post High School. Caulfield plays upright bass in the jazz ensemble, cello in the orchestra pit, and percussion in the Hawks Marching Band. Jarosch plays clarinet in both the jazz and symphonic bands, is a member of the CPP choristers, and is an active participant in the CPP Drama Club.\
