Two Charged With Concealing Body in Investigation That Spans Two Counties

Two people are being charged with concealing a man’s body as part of an investigation that spans two counties.

Neighbors say Onondaga County Sheriff’s deputies were parked at Bay Shore North Apartment Complex in Brewerton for hours Saturday.

Deputies say they discovered evidence of a crime inside an apartment late Friday morning.

The investigation led to other suspected crime scenes in both Onondaga and Oswego Counties.

28-year-old Corey Slattery has been charged with second degree murder and concealment of a human corpse. He is being held without bail.

Detectives also charged 48-year-old Connie Ingoldby of Phoenix with hindering prosecution and concealment of a human corpse. Her bail is set at $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond.

The sheriff’s office is working closely with the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the remains and the cause of death.

The investigation is described as ongoing and active.
