Two people were arrested Monday afternoon after a no-knock search warrant was executed in the Village of Bath as part of a crack cocaine sale investigation.

Police discovered a large quantity of crack cocaine valued at $1,800 along with a large amount of cash.

Kerrie L. Orrender, 57 of Robie St., and Melvin A. Huff, 40 of Rochester, were both arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B felony.

Both subjects were held for the centralized arraignment program and later remanded to the Steuben County Jail, and more charges are possible after grand jury review.

The Village of Bath Police Department was assisted by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office and the Steuben County District Attorney’s Office.
