Yates County Sheriff’s Deputies said they responded to a crash involving a car and a horse and buggy in the Town of Barrington around 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Deputies responded to State Route 14A near Ellis Road. The driver of the car was headed north when she struck the horse and buggy after it turned in front of her.

Both people in the buggy were transported to the hospital by ambulance. The driver of the car was looked over and refused treatment.
