Two taken to Strong Memorial Hospital after school bus crash in Bath

A female driver suffered a broken arm after a three-vehicle crash involving a school bus Monday morning in Bath, according to Bath Police Chief Chad Mullen.

Chief Mullen tells 18 News that a 2015 GMC SUV crossed into the opposite lane around 8:20 a.m. and hit a school bus head-on on Maple Heights between Charles and Cross Street, located near VEW Primary School.

A third vehicle struck the SUV from behind, causing minor damage.

There were no kids on the bus, and a five-year-old inside the vehicle that struck head-on was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, along with the driver of the SUV.

The driver of the third vehicle and the bus were taken to a local hospital for injuries.
