UPDATE (2/6 10:49 a.m.): The Elmira Community Kitchen has reopened following repairs for frozen pipes.

The Elmira Community Kitchen, operated by the Catholic Charities of Chemung & Schuyler Counties, will be closed Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, due to frozen pipes.
The Community Kitchen operates out of Saints Peter and Paul Church Community Center on E. Church Street in Elmira and has been serving those in need since 1981.
Officials at Community Kitchen say repairs are currently underway and that the church is in charge of the repairs.
