UPDATE: Rt. 414 reopens after rock slide

UPDATE 1:40 p.m.: PennDOT says the rock slide has been cleared and Route 414 has been reopened.

Motorists traveling in Lycoming and Tioga County are advised Route 414 is closed between Leetonia Road in Brown Township, Lycoming County and West Rim Road in Morris Township, Tioga County due to a rock slide.

PennDOT is assessing the slide area and will begin work to reopen Route 414 as soon as possible. 

A detour will be in place using Routes 973 and 287.
