Venue change for Drake Bell concert now in Horseheads

News

Drake Bell is coming to Horseheads. You may remember Drake Bell from his hit television show Drake and Josh which aired on Nickelodeon from Jan. of 2004 to Sept. of 2007, totaling 56 episodes in 4 seasons.

Bell also has had various roles in multiple sitcom shows across the Nickelodeon network. But Bell has officially taken a step back from the television screen and is now pursuing his singing career.

18 News spoke with Bell’s publicist and a local musician who’ll open for Bell. Both are very excited for the upcoming event.

“It should do pretty well, it’s something different,” said Promoter Joey Lanzillotto. “This area really latches on onto sort of  niche type of things like comedy shows or you know, Drake being from TV,” added Lanzillotto.

“We’re really grateful to get this opportunity,” said Local musician Perris Dowdle. “Sometimes we book in the bars and we get a hundred cap. But you never know with something like this,” added Dowdle.

The event is this Thursday, Feb. 21 and the venue has changed from it’s original location to “The Gate” (formally known as Journey Life Center). Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event begins at 7 p.m.

Drake Bell will be performing his acoustic music set and will be accompanied by special guests Christain Matthew and the band ‘Something Deadly’.

Tickets can be found ahead of the event for $15 on the events web page or in person at The Music Depot which is located at 2026 Lake Road, in Elmira.

Tickets will also be available at the door for a price of $20 and all ages are welcome at the event.
