Volunteers from the Twin Tiers travel to aid Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico is still struggling to recover from Hurricane Maria, which ravaged the country with strong winds and heavy rains.

Some volunteers from the Twin Tiers are making the journey to the country with the Red Cross to aid in the relief efforts.

Winnie Romeril, from Prattsburgh, will be deploying to Puerto Rico on Monday morning

She is one of more than 155 volunteers from the Western and Central New York region who have deployed to support the relief efforts.
