Waverly Woman Allegedly Throws Boiling Water at Victim

A 43 year-old Waverly woman was arrested after police said she threw boiling water at someone.

Nichole Brown was arrested following a police investigation into a domestic incident at a home in the village, Waverly Police said. It happened October 26th just before 3:30 p.m. at a home on Elliott Street.

Waverly Police said Brown allegedly assaulted a man by throwing boiling water on his back, causing serious burns. She also attempted to stab him and herself, with a knife. The two was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Brown was arrested as a “Fugitive from Justice” in Sayre PA, by the Sayre Police, that evening. She’s facing the following charges, according to Waverly Police.

  • Felony Assault in the 1st degree.
  • Felony Assault in the 2nd degree.
  • Misdemeanor Menacing in the 2nd degree.
  • Misdemeanor Criminal mischief in the 4th degree.   

Brown was sent to the Tioga County NY Jail awaiting further legal action.
