Winter Weather Advisory in effect for portions of the Twin Tiers Wednesday

The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a Winter Weather Advisory until 4 PM Wednesday for Seneca, Southern Cayuga, Steuben, and Yates counties.

Freezing rain expected late Wednesday morning into the afternoon. A light glazing of ice on untreated surfaces is possible. Drive carefully and give yourself plenty of extra time when heading out the door.
