‘World famous’ pet theater coming to town, ticket sales go to local animal shelters

From Las Vegas, to America’s Got Talent, and now to Elmira – the “World Famous” Popovich Comedy Pet Theater will be in town on Thursday, Feb. 7 at the Clemens Center.

The performance will feature a cast of dogs, parrots, geese, and mice, all showing off their talents and led by circus performer Gregory Popovich.

Every year, a group of students from GST BOCES New Visions Academy helps put on a show at the Clemens Center. Alivia Van Daalen, Cat Huber, and Rachel Spaulding are just a few of the high school seniors who have worked all year long to present the Popovich Pet Theater.

Not only does the program afford students the opportunity to learn about business from a real-life perspective, this year’s chosen show will help protect rescue animals in our community.

All of the animals featured in the show have been rescued from across the country, and ticket sales from this particular show will go directly to local animal shelters.

Tickets can be ordered online or by calling 607-734-8191 or 800-724-0159.

The show is two hours long, with a 15 minute intermission.
