Looking for a cheesy deal where you don’t need to fork over a lot of dough?
Pudgies is celebrating its 55th anniversary with 55 cent cheese-pizza slices and 55 cent fountain drinks.
Lines were forming outside the Pudgies in Horseheads as pizza-lovers were waiting anxiously for some slices.
The first Pudgies opened in Elmira, in April 1963.
“We’re so proud and thankful to be in such a great community where we’ve thrived in this business,” Kristen Tarantino, the co-owner of the Horseheads Pudgies, said. “Today is just our way of showing thanks to our customers and trying to give back.”
There is an eight slice limit, toppings are extra and you get a free glass with each purchase.
The deal will go on all day until closing time and is only available at the Horseheads, Corning and Elmira restaurants
