As the Twin Tiers was hit with a dose of warm weather on Friday, people were encouraged to get outside and soak up the sunshine.
Friday’s high reached nearly 75 degrees. That temperature crushes a record of 64 degrees which dates back to 1985.
Last year, on February 24th, we saw a temperature of 52 degrees.
Today, families made the most of the warmth by heading to Eldridge Park to enjoy the scenic views and get some exercise.
“It’s been a really good day and I really like that it’s really nice out,” park visitor, Madison Hills said.
“I came here to the park with my grandpa and my little sister,” Madison’s brother, Tyler Hills said. “We rode our bikes here and that was really fun, nice breeze. I didn’t expect that it was going to be this nice today.”
