An attempted armed robbery in South Carolina leaves a man originally from Addison, New York dead — now two men are charged for the crime.

31-year-old Anthony Tiffany, born in Corning and raised in Addison, New York, was the night manager at a KFC restaurant in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

That’s according to his obituary from our newspaper partner, The Leader.

On the night of March 31st, Tiffany was shot and killed during an attempted armed robbery at the restaurant.

Our NBC affiliate in Greenville says now De’Adrian De’Paul Garcia and Jyquez Julius Freeman are charged in connection to the homicide.

Funeral services for Tiffany were held over the weekend in Woodhull, New York.
