Starbucks is opening its largest ever location in Chicago.
That title was previously held by its Tokyo store.
The four-story Chicago roastery is 43-thousand square feet.
Roasteries feature specialty coffees and teas, roasters on site, cocktails, and a bit of a fancier edge compared to regular Starbucks locations.
Starbucks has six total, including ones in New York, Milan, and Shanghai.
When Starbucks announced its Chicago location in 2017, it said would be a “fully censorial coffee environment” dedicated to roasting and brewing Starbucks’ coffees from around the world. The location will also feature the company’s artisan bakery concept, Princi.
The Chicago roastery will open November 15th in the city’s ‘magnificent mile’ neighborhood.
