The future of the Pinnacle Golf Course in Addison is facing a level of uncertainty that it hasn’t seen before.

The course’s previous owner did not submit a new ownership proposal to the New York State Parks Department when the prior lease expired.

The Parks Department tells 18 News: “State parks is awaiting responses for request for proposals for concessions at pinnacle state park. We remain hopeful this appeal will identify a partner to operate the 9-hole golf course and restaurant this season. Proposals for the new R.F.P. are due May 5th.”

The park remains open for passive uses like picnicking, hiking, and fishing.
