Corning woman arrested for underage sex offense

CORNING, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - Amanda Wilson-Martin of Corning, New York was arrested on October 30 for Rape in the Second Degree, a D Felony.

Corning Police received a tip in early October of an inappropriate relationship allegedly involving Wilson-Martin and an underage male.

With assistance from the Steuben County Child Protective Services, the Corning Police Department concluded a month-long investigation into the allegations.

Wilson-Martin appeared before City of Corning Court Judge Mathew McCarthy and was sent to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of bail in the amount of $2000 cash/ $4,000/property. She is scheduled to reappear at Corning City Court on November 2, at 8:30 a.m.
