UPDATE: Part of Route 414 Now Closed Due to Landslide

BRADFORD COUNTY, PA. (18 NEWS) - UPDATE (12/03/18 3:30pm) The closure was supposed to begin on Friday, December 7th but due to an increase in slide movement it has been moved up to Monday, December 3rd. No word yet on how long the project will last.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation scheduled a closure of a section of Route 414 in Leroy Township due to an active landslide.

The scheduled road closure will take place Friday, Dec. 7 unless the situation worsens.

The landslide is located at the intersection with Jennings Road.

Work to repair the landslide is expected to begin in December. PennDOT is looking to accelerate the project to limit the amount of time the road is closed.
