WELLSBORO, Pa. (18 NEWS) - The man arrested in connection to a string of alleged bomb threats at the Truck-Lite Factory in Wellsboro appeared in court for the first time. Brandon Lee Andrews was in court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing.
State Police said the 31 year-old Wellsboro man is facing multiple charges related to four bomb threats between May 15-31. Those charges include making terroristic threats, and threat to use weapons of mass destruction. Each time, the facility on US-6 was evacuated and searched by state police.
Then on Friday June 1, a day after Andrews was charged, there was a fifth bomb threat at the company. State Police are investigating.
