ELMIRA, NY (18 NEWS) - An arrest has been made in relation to a suspected meth lab bust on the 700 block of Oak St., in the City of Elmira, last Wednesday.
18-year-old Alexander Burgos, of Horseheads, is charged with unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine in the third degree, a class D felony.
The arrest stems from an investigation into a report of suspicious activity at the house on Oak St. When officers arrived, they discovered empty bottles used to manufacture methamphetamine on the property.
A search warrant was subsequently executed at the residence, and numerous items to manufacture methamphetamine were also recovered.
Burgos is scheduled to reappear in court at a later date.
The investigation into the meth lab is ongoing, and anyone with any information is asked to contact the Elmira Police Department.
