FRANKLIN TWP, Pa. (18 NEWS) - A substitute teacher in Towanda has been accused of sexually assaulting a student.
25-year-old Whitney Roberts of New Hampshire faces charges of institutional sexual assault and corruption of minors.
Roberts was a substitute teacher for the Towanda Area School District. The incident happened November 18, 2017 involving the victim, a 17-year-old male student.
Roberts was charged with two counts of institutional sexual assault and one count of corruption of minors.
Police say Roberts was arraigned and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
