CORNING, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - A Corning woman is facing felony charges after a meth lab was found inside her home Saturday morning.
According to Corning Police, authorities responded to a structure fire at 87 Lamphear Court just before 6 a.m. While on scene the responding police officers observed materials and evidence of an existing Methamphetamine laboratory.
Police arrested 40-year-old Katrina Breon after conducting a further investigation for unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine in the 3rd Degree, a class D felony.
Breon was arraigned and currently being held in the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $4,000 cash or $8,000 property bond.
Corning Police Department was assisted at the scene by members of the New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team, the Steuben County Sheriff's Office and the Corning Fire Department.
