CORNING, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - The rush of Black Friday and Small Business Saturday sales left it's mark on stores along Market Street.
A few local businesses are recuperating from major sales this past weekend.
"As far as Cyber Monday, we do have an online presence, but I'm kind of laying low and not doing much for Monday, and we're just kind of regrouping and getting geared up because we have Sparkle this weekend, so we have other things we need to focus on," Sarah, Files, owner of Pip's Boutique on Market Street, said.
The Cotton Gin was also getting back on their feet after a busy weekend wiped a good portion of items off the shelves.
However, other stores along Market Street continued their holiday sales on the Internet.
"If people go to redbubble.com and search for Card Carrying Books, they can find our designs on there, and they can save 30 percent today only, they can do it until midnight and the code is 30CYBER," Sarah Blagg, manager of Card Carrying Books and Gifts, said.
"On our website, which is puredesignonline.com, we have steelcase products on sale for 15 percent off and Offi and Company products also 15 percent off," Brian Bulkley, manager at Pure Design, said.
Bulkley said some of the small items that are stocked in the store are not often sold online due to shipping costs and low inventories. These are some of the main reasons other local businesses have been keeping a low online presence for Cyber Monday.
