CORNING, N.Y. - At Heritage Village of the Southern Finger Lakes, members of the First New York Regiment, Mccrackens Company gathered to reenact the American Revolution.
Heritage Village is special because of the historic buildings from the 1700's. There is a school house, blacksmith cabin and an original inn from 1796.
These buildings were brought from different counties across the state and restored. The actors really got into their parts, dressing just like the people and soldiers in 1777.
The event is open to the public. Anyone can come to learn about the war, the soldiers attire or how they lived during that time.
