Jump Start to Living Well: How giving your body a rest can build MORE muscle

HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (JSTLW) - Working out 5, or even 7 days a week and not seeing a ton of progress? We'll tell you why!

When you strength train, you're body goes through a cycle of breaking down muscle and building it back up. 

When you don't give yourself rest days however, your body doesn't get a chance to build the muscle back up! 

John's tip?...Get at least 3 hard, high-intensity workouts in a week and take it easier the rest of the week.
