Local jewelry store to shut its doors after 70 years in business

ELMIRA, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - After 70 years in business, Criss' Jewelry will soon close for good.

The store's Facebook page says the owners are retiring and will close its doors on June 16.

In the meantime, the store is trying to get rid of its inventory with jewelry at hefty discounts.

It's a good chance to get a wedding ring for your significant other or a new chain for dad for Father's Day.

Criss' Jewelry is located on South Main Street, across from Elmira High School.
