MANSFIELD, Pa (18 NEWS) - One person in the hospital after a fire early this morning in Mansfield.
According to First News Now, the fire happened at an apartment on North Main Street just after 4:00 a.m.
Fire and smoke were seen billowing from the second floor and attic windows.
The Mansfield Fire Department responded to the scene, with Blossburg and Wellsboro Fire Departments providing assistance.
The fire was put out just after 6 a.m., but fire crews remained on the scene until 7:30 a.m.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
