TIOGA COUNTY, Pa. (18 NEWS) - Pennsylvania State Police have identified the woman killed in Tuesday's fatal crash in Tioga County.
At approximately 11:53 a.m., State Police in Mansfield responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of State Route 6 and Gas Company Road.
At that time, a Red Hyundai Elantra, operated by 89-year-old Faye Tokarz, was stopped at the intersection. When she proceeded through the intersection, Tokarz pulled out in front of a Ford F150 traveling east. Tokarz's vehicle was struck on the driver side.
Even though all involved occupants were wearing seatbelts, all were transported by EMS for medical treatment.
Tokarz was later declared deceased at Robert Packer Hospital.
