Services available to help military veteran entrepreneurs and businesses

HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - If you're a disabled military veteran who's already an entrepreneur or is thinking of starting a business, you're in luck.

New York State provides a number of resources and help to jump start your business.

If you don't know where to begin, IncubatorWorks is working with veterans to cut through the confusion.

It helps veterans step by step, introducing them to resources and people willing to help out.

Incubator works says that veterans tend to have a greater success rate at entrepreneurship .

"They've had superb training in how to be self-reliant, how to have self-discipline and they've learned very practical skills," Alan Rae, the co-executive director of IncubatorWorks, said. "You know, it's a great opportunity and most employment, growth and employment is caused by small businesses."
