Thousands of law enforcement officials travel to Alfred for Trooper Clark's funeral

ALFRED, N.Y. - Over 4000 law enforcement officials from various parts of the country gathered at the home going service of Trooper Nicholas Clark to pay their respects.

It was important for them to be there to support the family and other officers during this difficult time.

It is not unusual for officers to gather from far and wide to show their support for fallen officers. Major Maurice Tomlinson from the Pennsylvania state police was there today among others.

He said that this is something that he feels is necessary to help the New York State police as well as the community get through this tragedy.
