TOWN OF HOWARD, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - Three individuals are behind bars after they were arrested after being caught in the act of breaking into a seasonal residence on Dublin Road, in the Town of Howard.
It's alleged that around 9:30 a.m. yesterday morning, Steuben County 911 was contacted by a concerned citizen who observed suspicious activity in the area. Responding Troopers took 54-year-old Kevin Scott of Canisteo, 32-year-old Earle Robbins, of Bath, and 28-year-old Whittany Hale, of Bath into custody.
A quantity of property stolen from within the residence was located in a vehicle which had allegedly been used by the suspects..
All three are charged with burglary in the second degree, a class D felony.
Scott and Robbins were remanded to the Steuben County jail without bail, while Hale was remanded on $2,000 cash bail.
All are scheduled to reappear in court on Monday, December 4.
