VAN ETTEN, N.Y. (18 News) - 3-year-old Abby Webster lost both her legs, but remains in high spirits.
Abby's mother tells us Abby underwent another operation earlier today. She is slowly recovering, and she's already optimistic about the future. Her mom tells us, Abby is excited about her getting her "big girl legs".
The Webster family is so grateful for the outpouring of love from members of the community, and her mother has this to say:
"Our family would like the community to know that Abby is doing exceptionally well! Her attitude and strength have been astounding and inspiring. We cannot begin to thank everyone for their generosity, kind words, support, and love.If people would like to follow her story, please visit the friends of Abby Webster Facebook page. We will be here in Philadelphia for at least another week or more. She is beginning to heal and she is so very brave. Thank you again for all your love and prayers."
