CORNING, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - Fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger will be in Corning on Tuesday for a book signing.
His book, 'American Dreamer: My Life in Fashion & Business' is described as honest, candid and sincere and reveals never-before-told stories from both his personal and professional life. It also entails the hardships in building a global fashion lifestyle brand.
For a $20 donation, you'll get a copy of the book, meet with the designer himself and he will sign it.
All proceeds will go to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier.
Despite the book being released in November of last year, it's the perfect time for Hilfiger to visit for the holidays and give back to the community through this event.
As many already know, he grew up in Elmira and still has many friends and family in the area, so the Corning store is just the right location to come back to.
The store is located at 47 East Market Street and the event is Tuesday, December 5 from 4:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. tomorrow.
