Two Southport residents charged with stealing credit card

TOWN OF SOUTHPORT, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - Two Town of Southport residents are facing felony charges after they allegedly stole and tried to use a stolen credit card. 

28-year-old Andrew Hootman, and 24-year-old Marina Stevens are each facing one count of burglary in the second degree, and one count of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, both felonies.

It's alleged that the pair stole a credit card from a residence in the Town of Southport, and then tried to use it at a local business. 

Hootman was remanded to the Chemung County jail on $5,000 cash bail, while Stevens was remanded on $2,500 cash bail.
