UPDATE: Winter Storm Warnings no longer in effect, Winter Weather Advisories issued

ELMIRA, (WETM) - National Weather Service in Binghamton and State College cancels Winter Storm Warnings

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST WEDNESDAY...

* WHERE...In Pennsylvania, Bradford, Susquehanna, Northern Wayne, Wyoming, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Pike and Southern Wayne counties. In New York, Yates, Seneca, Southern Cayuga, Steuben, Schuyler, Chemung, Tompkins, Cortland, Chenango, Tioga and Broome counties.

* WHAT... A mixture of light sleet and freezing rain changing to light snow. Additional snow accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of up to one-tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. While the heaviest precipitation even light amounts of freezing rain will result in slick spots even on sidewalks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation ending late tonight. Additional ice accumulations of less than one-tenth of an inch and little or no additional snow and sleet accumulations are expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Poor travel conditions will continue into the overnight. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.
