NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio enters Presidential race

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has entered the 2020 Presidential race, joining a crowded field that already has 22 candidates. He made the announcement that he is seekin the Democratic nomination on Thursday morning.

In his announcement video, posted on Youtube, de Blasio highlighted climate change and income inequality as two of his key campaign issues.

In 2017, de Blasio became the first Democrat reelected as Mayor of New York City in more than three decades.

De Blasio will visit some key states this week, including Iowa and South Carolina.
