ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – It’s time to go back to the vault.
In this edition of 18 Sports Flashback we go back to 1983 and the Syracuse versus Penn State football rivalry. We go back to 1983, the year the Nittany Lions topped the Orange, 17-6, at The Carrier Dome. Elmira native, Marty Chalk, was a junior tight end for Syracuse at that time.
The Orange fell to N.C. State last Saturday and will next play #2 Notre Dame. That game will be on WETM-TV this Saturday at 2:30 pm.
