HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WETM) – This week’s winner had a huge game for the Horseheads football team.
Horseheads senior running back Gavin Elston is the Simmons-Rockwell Nissan 18 Sports Athlete of the Week. Elston ran for 346 yards and six touchdowns in a win for the Blue Raiders against Vestal. Gavin received 53 percent of the total votes.
