Another Corning Hawk has signed the dotted line to play sports at the Division I level.
Ben Terwilliger, a key part of Corning baseball’s Section IV Class AA Championship team in 2016, signed to play at the University of Maine for the Black Bears. Terwilliger is a multi-sport standout at Corning, but baseball has been his true passion his entire life.
Terwilliger was named one of the top 1,000 prospects in the country by Perfect Game and has been a true leader his community. A National Honor Society student with a 3.9 GPA, Terwilliger is primed to take his talent to Maine and build on his already special career.
For Ben, getting the opportunity to join a new family up North is something he cannot wait for. Check out the interview from Tuesday afternoon.
