Syracuse men’s basketball coach Jim Boeheim briefly addressed the press following SU’s 74-50 win over Oakland.
Boeheim broke down the game, saying Tyus Battle carried the team in the first half, and Frank Howard “made a difference in the second half.”
Coach Boeheim said Paschal Chukwu played the best game of his collegiate career. The 7’2″ center was two blocks shy of a triple-double. Chukwu finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds in addition to the eight blocks.
Chukwu “changed the whole game,” Boeheim said.
The Orange are now 4-0.
