The Corning Hawks wrestling program is in prime position for the new year.
Corning returns defending Section IV champ, Matt Kline, who will look to win another title at 152-pounds this season. Also back is lightweight Chase Daudelin, one of the top up-and-comers in the entire state on the mat. The Hawks already have one tournament underneath their belts this season, a fourth place finish at the Mark Stephens Invitational last weekend.
Next up on the schedule a date with the Elmira Express, a team that’s being considered one of the front-runners in the division this year, tomorrow night. The Hawks are ready for all things this season and will have a solid lineup in 2017-18. We preview the Hawks as they prepare for victory, check out the story with 18 Sports.
