It’s been a month to remember for the Elmira Enforcers.

After a weekend sweep of the Mentor Ice Breakers, Elmira tied an overall consecutive wins-best mark in professional hockey. With the two wins over Mentor, Elmira extended its consecutive wins streak to nine overall-which ties the Elmira Jackals mark of nine back in 2012 in the days of the ECHL.

The Enforcers will next play on the road Friday and Saturday at Danville and look to make history with their 10th overall win.

More big time news for the Enforcers this weekend, the team received word from the league office that Ahmed Mahfouz earned the FHL Player of The Month. Mahfouz, a ten-year veteran in the FHL, had eight goals and 12 assists in the month of January.
