The Elmira girls basketball team dropped a close game on Monday.
Without standout, Kiara Fisher, visiting Owego bested Elmira 69-67. Fisher will miss the remainder of the season with season-ending shoulder surgery, In other action, Horseheads rolled over Johnson City and plenty of Section V boys basketball teams emerged with big victories.
