Enforcers edged by Ice Breakers

The Mentor Ice Breakers scored a late goal in the third period to edge the Elmira Enforcers 4-3 on Friday at First Arena in Elmira.

With the game tied at 2 in the third period, the Enforcers took a 3-2 lead on a goal scored by Anton Lennartsson.

Jon Buttitta scored a power-play goal for Mentor with under five minutes to play in regulation to tie the game at 3.

Buttitta would then score the game-winning goal for the Ice Breakers with under two minutes to go.

The Elmira Enforcers host the Mentor Ice Breakers again on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. in Elmira’s final home game of the regular season.
