Enforcers fall to Thunderbirds in game two in OT

The Carolina Thunderbirds would erase a three goal deficit and defeat the Elmira Enforcers in overtime 4-3 at home on Saturday in game two of the Commissioner’s Cup Finals.

Michael Bunn scored the game-winning goal in overtime for Carolina.

The Thunderbirds take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series.

Elmira took a 1-0 lead in the first period on a goal scored by Brandon Vuic.

The Enforcers took a 3-0 lead in the second period with a goal by Gavin Yates and another goal by Vuic.

Carolina scored three straight goals late in the second period to tie the game at 3.

The Elmira Enforcers will try to stay alive in the series when they host game three of the Commissioner’s Cup Finals on Friday at First Arena at 7:05 p.m.
