Watkins Glen International could see the return of one its fan favorite race series in September. 

But, that’s the key word-could. After Boston had to drop its first race due to what autosport.com calls local authority approval, IndyCar needs a new home for Labor Day weekend. 

Now, with just months to find a replacement, the series is considering the return to Watkins Glen-a place that last held an IndyCar race in 2010. Track president Michael Printup tells 18 Sports he would love to see the return of the series.
